Library Cards-Individuals who are 18 years of age and older may obtain a library card by presenting a picture I.D. and paying a fee of $1.50 to cover the cost of the card and postage. Children under the age of 18 must have a parent’s signature to obtain a library card. The card or a picture I.D. must be presented at checkout. Replacement cards cost $1.00. Books may be checked out for two weeks. Magazines, CD’s, DVD’S and some reference materials may be checked out for one week. Fines for overdue materials are as follows:
- books and magazines…10 cents per day
- reserve books, interloan library books, books on waiting lists…20 cents per day
- audio books…50 cents per day
- DVD’s…$1.00 per day
- lost materials…$5.00 processing fee, plus cost of the item
Story Time– Story time is available for children 2 to 5 years of age on Wednesday mornings at 10:00a.m. Story time runs from September through May.
Computers-Our library has 23 public access computers with internet access as well as word processing and other programs. There is no fee to use the computers: however, there is a 25 cent per page fee to print materials. Computers are available on a first come first serve basis. All patrons must sign a User Agreement Form before use. Those patrons 18 years or under must have this form signed by a parent or legal guardian.
Conference Room– The conference room is available during library hours for a rental fee of $50.00 for the first hour and $10.00 for each subsequent hour. There is also a $30 refundable deposit that is required. The room seats 40 people.
Photocopying Service-The following prices apply to this service:
- 8×11 black and white (one side)…25 cents (both sides)…35 cents
- 8 1/2 x 14 black and white (0ne side)…35 cents (both sides)…45 cents
Laminating– The following fees apply to laminating:
- $1.00 for 8×11 size page
- 50 cents for business sized cards
Fax Service– Faxing fees are $2.00 for first page and $1.25 for each additional page.
